Key responsibilities of the role will include;

Retain existing customer base by driving customer service standards within the site
Managing site and vehicle costs within budgeted levels
Managing bulk stocks in line with customer demand
Work closely with 3rd Party wholesale customers, overseeing loading and managing all Health and Safety requirements
Liaising with suppliers to manage the import of LPG Stocks, intake of equipment and arrangements for repairs and maintenance 
Product Testing and Compliance
Managing and coordinating Driver Shift Patterns 
Implementation of the company safety management system on site
Protecting the company’s operating licence by ensuring management and compliance with driver’s hours & tachograph regulations and working time directive  
Managing resource levels and proficiency in order to meet customer demand and achieve high proficiency levels
Manage the safety on site in accordance with the safety management system to meet compliance and drive a safety culture 
Assist in all aspects of managing colleagues on site including selection, recruitment, training, performance management and appraisals etc
Manage compliance of company processes and procedures relating to sales, stocks, financial controls within the operating system (CODAS)
As part of the management team, you will ensure we comply with necessary legislation and Flogas operating procedures, works instructions and requisite policies
Hazard identification and risk assessment of routine tasks and maintenance (with support of Technical Services)
Deputise for the Site Manager in their absence

Available to travel to support training and/or business needs 
Experienced in customer service, providing great service and resolving customer issues

Desirable
Holder of a Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage (CPC)
Knowledge of COMAH regulations including properties, safe handling and storage of dangerous goods
Experience of CODAS or similar operating systems
Experience of ADR / CDG Regulations
Mechanical knowledge of plant process
Knowledge of Bulk Tanker operations
Holder of NEBOSH or IOSH certification
Experience in the Gas, Oil, or Fuels industry 
Qualifications from an Electrical or Mechanical engineering environment
