Assistant Refurbishment Plant Manager



Job Title: Assistant Refurbishment Plant Manager 
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum
Location: Staveley 
Hours: Full Time, Permanent 

Flogas British Ltd are recruiting an Assistant Refurbishment Plant Manager to ensure the safe operation, ISO compliance, efficiency and commercial success of the Flogas Refurbishment Plant in Staveley. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your skills and abilities in site management to ensure smooth running of our refurbishment plant. 

The refurbishment plant refurbishes LPG cylinders for use across the Flogas business’s, along with refurbishing bulk tanks used in commercial and domestic premises. Transporting them from our Staveley site across England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. 

The Role
Implementation of company safety management system on site
Hazard identification and risk assessment of routine tasks and maintenance (with support of Technical Services)
Driving increased reporting on ‘near misses’
Ensure all site changes are recorded and circulated using the Modification Approval For
Carry out regular Quality Checks and raise Corrective Actions (CARs) as required. Investigate reason for non-conformity, determine corrective action and ensure implementation.

Demonstrate a positive attitude towards Health & Safety 
Demonstrate numeracy and literacy skills 
Effectively communicate with customers and colleagues at all levels 
Able to effectively implement risk control systems 
Able to show effective management of people and problems
